Introducing... Mr. Wilgus
Brian Wilgus is currently in his 15th year teaching with 2019-20 being his 12th at Greenville Elementary School. Previously, Mr. Wilgus taught at Trigg County Middle School where he was the intermediate / middle school general music teacher as well as the Assistant High School Band Director. Prior to that, he held the position of Assistant Director of the Glema Mahr Center for the Arts at Madisonville's Community College. Mr. Wilgus is also an ordained minister.
Mr. Wilgus is a graduate of Madisonville North Hopkins High School and received his Bachelor degree in Music Education from Murray State University in 2001. In August of 2010, he completed his Master's Degree in School Administration from Oakland City University. He is currently working toward his Rank 1 in school administration through Murray State University. Mr. Wilgus holds memberships with the Kentucky Music Educator Association, the Music Educators National Conference, The Kentucky Assocation of School Administrators, and Phi Mu Alpha professional music fraternity.
Mr. Wilgus and his wife Stephani have two children and cherish every moment they have with them! In his spare time, Mr. Wilgus enjoys playing golf, spending time with his wife and children, working in his yard and listening to a variety of styles of music.
